Sandbourne Victorian Fayre
Bonnets compulsory, moustaches encouraged. A seafront fayre with penny-farthing races and a fiercely judged pickled-onion class.

Charming seafront setting, and the pickled onion class got genuinely heated. Loved it.

Excellent bonnets. Tombola was all cooking oil and no chocolate. Bring your own umbrella.

The penny-farthing race was worth the train fare alone. Cream teas a touch stingy on the jam.
